NC4 and a bit Tour - 2025
Don't think the bike cover is too bulky, although not sure what it's going to be like to get the thing back in the bag of course!!! PC has decided to take a cover for the bike, as the Bagger Manhattan hates the rain and the electrics of the FTF start to fart if it's get wet over night! So we'll see if this works out.
This mini tour can't come quick enough for me [PC] as the day to day struggle of work is particularly hard currently and it's stressful all round. Toby away in France enjoying the wine, bear and cuisine no doubt. Also when reading this back in a few years, it's a reminder that PC and Mrs C are still not back in Strath, although things are starting to happen, with plasterers going in this week (15th Sept) and the new kitchen is booked to start in 4 weeks. Anyway, here's wishing time away to get to next Wednesday when we can "don the leathers" and get up the road to Bonnie Scotland. The weather has been awful, but the outlook according to the BBC weather app is looking fair for us and even good!! If that app shows bad weather, we'll do our normal trick and look for another app which is better!! 🤣. It's irrelevant in any case, because whatever the weather turns out to be, we're going and have fantastic new, all weather, riding gear. The weekend before now and the weather is pretty poor at home; however the outlook is really great. Sunny Wednesday for the week and around warming up slightly - that would be perfect.
Mrs C doing the washing and ironing to get the clothes ready. Unsure what to take as it might be warm or cold or dry or wet, you never know with Scotland!!! Going to take one posh outfit for Melville Castle Hotel though. Other than that - scruffs!
Stanley's sorted - a week with his cousins, Tali and Ginger (Celty-bob) 🤣
He was off to H's for a couple of days at the end to spend time with his brothers, Frank and Bertie. He'd have deffo paid homage to his best brother George who is laid to rest in their back garden, but not going now, so he'll have to to do this sometime later.4 sleeps to go......
